Also, starting as early as mid-December, Garfield will be using an automated phone/text/email messaging service. This will allow us to phone/text/email you reminders about upcoming events, such as Christmas programs, vacation breaks, parent-teacher conferences, picture days, state testing, absences, meal balances, dress-up days, etc. If you have a child who often loses or misplaces those paper reminders that are sent home for you to see, this might be just what you need! If you have more than one child at Garfield, you will only receive one phone/text/email message, not one per child.
